Title: Improving forecasts of the biodiversity impacts of climate change

Where: eScience Institute on the 6th floor of the Physics-Astronomy building or join remotely via zoom [seminar will begin around 12:20 pm]

Activity: Mapping connections across our disciplines with AI agents

We will seat everyone at tables arranged so that several disciplines are represented at each. Each table will use an AI agent (UW Purple, or an assistant you already use) to look across its members' research for connections: shared data and field sites, problems with a similar structure, and methods from one field that could address a limitation in another. Each table will then choose one candidate project and present it to the room in two minutes: the question, what each discipline contributes, and where the agent helped or misled.

No preparation is needed. Please bring a laptop and, if you like, one or two of your papers or abstracts to share with your table.

When: Tuesday, Nov 3, 12-1 pm (20 min FREE lunch, 40 min group activity). 

Where: eScience Institute meeting room on the 6th floor of the Physics-Astronomy building or join remotely via zoom for the introduction and report-back [activity will begin around 12:20 pm]. Please note that lunch this week will be served in the meeting room, since the commons area is reserved for another group.
